Palila Art Hike - May 19th 2013

We had a great day filled with palila viewing, native plant identification, and picking ‘a‘ali‘i seeds that will be grown and planted to help restore palila habitat! On behalf of the Hawai‘i Nei Art Contest we would like to thank the Mauna Kea Forest Restoration Project (MKFRP) for hosting a wonderful trip and the volunteers that came out and made it spectacular!
